Finding a good tutor should not require asking around for weeks. We want to make the whole process — search, trial, booking, payment — simple enough that students can focus on learning, not logistics.
A platform where any student, regardless of where they live or what they can afford, can find a tutor who actually fits their needs — not just whoever happens to be available.
Teacher Dekho was started in 2025 by Jitender Jain and Himanshu Goyal. Both had seen firsthand how frustrating the tutor search process was. They decided to fix it — starting small, learning from every student and teacher they worked with.

Within the first few weeks, we verified and onboarded our first 30 tutors across Delhi. Every profile was manually reviewed before going live.
Crossed 200 registered students by mid-2025. Most came through referrals — a sign we were doing something right.
Added support for online classes after repeated requests from students outside Delhi. Tutors could now teach from anywhere.
We're still early. The platform is live, tutors are getting booked, and we're improving things every week based on what students and teachers actually tell us.
